CITY PRAYER

City Prayer, an open-to-the-public weekly meeting of prayer, is held each Monday night at 7 pm at the NHC building on the top floor (enter the building on the south-side next to the fountains, take the elevator).

VISION: To establish a prayer protection and covering (wall of fire) around our city that expands until it meets and joins other walls across the region and nation.

GOAL: To bring the Glory of God and His Kingdom to our City

OBJECTIVE: To establish a 24/7 prayer covering for our city

ACTIVITIES:

Phase # 1:Initial gathering prayer time (Ongoing Until Further Notice: Monday Nights at 7 PM, NHC building top floor)

Phase # 2:Establishment of Daily Prayer Watch (6 am, 12 pm, 6pm, and 12 pm)
-recruit as many people as possible for each watch
-the names with phone numbers would be posted for each watch time
-each watch would have a captain that people could call into for direction or agreement
-the prayer items would be posted for each watch captain and team members

Phase #3:Team Captains/Gatherers begin recruiting for the 24 hour pray slots
-each team captain/gatherer recruits for the six hours following their time
-the effort is only to get the slots filled, not to start the prayer-it will launch later
-all initial commitments to a time will be for a maximum of 3 months
-when at least two people are in ever slot a launch will be announced

Phase #4:Get the system down and efficient
-empowerment at the lowest level
-ensure accurate and timely communication
-ensure leadership structure appropriate and serving and needs of the intercessors
-quarterly gatherings for appointment, blessing, and honoring of incoming/outgoing watch members
-monthly meeting of prayer leaders/captains/pastors/strategic thinkers/apostolic leaders

Phase #5: Establish a Prayer center
-a place of worship
-a place of the miraculous power of God
-a place of divine connection for direction and intimacy
-The Tabernacle of David in our Midst
--24/7 unveiled presence of God in our city

Milestone: A transformed city with Jesus as Lord over ever sphere

Passion Statement: We desire to see God’s tangible glory fill our city, so every facet of our society is transformed into the image of His Son.

A Coat of Many Colors is an organization created to blend and encourage women who are in Christian ministry. It is a group designed for women who have a desire to visibly reach outside of their culture, creed, and life circumstances to build Godly relationships.
Luncheon meetings are held once a month, house to house, or at Greenhouse Ministries. As we all seek the full work of God in each others life, through prayer and encouragement, we weave the Coat of Many Colors and the unity for which Jesus prayed.
The group, led by Ann Cross and Jane Sharp, meets on the 1st Thursday of each month. We would be honored for you to join us and even invite other women in ministry. For additional information, please call Greenhouse Ministries at 615-494-0499
