For the last several months we have been in the process of evaluating a major themed attraction for our County. When I first met with the proponents of Bible Park USA, I was very clear with them regarding three things: first, I wanted my concerns about potential impacts to the neighbors addressed; second, I wanted any incentive they requested to be reasonable in terms of size and duration; and third, I wanted certain assurances that the developer, SafeHarbor Holding, could make the Park a reality if and when the Industrial Development Board and the Board of Commissioners approved the development.
